I wish that this "Rapture" business will just evaporate. The resurrection of the dead and the changing of those living Christians into spirit beings occurs after the Great Tribulation and The Day of The Lord. There is no ticket out of this ride. Christians will go through the tribulation like the rest of the world. Some will be protected but most probably won't since most Christians are biblical illiterates and are spiritually asleep. I believe that Satan is spreading this rapture business so that the believers of this doctrine will be highly disappointed when they are not whisked away to safety when the Great Tribulation kicks in. That way they will lose the faith and probably give up. Rev. 17:6 states:

"I saw that the woman(the Catholic Church) was drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus."

Doesn't sound to me like Christians are being whisked away to safety there. And how about this? Rev 13:5-8:

"The Beast(a German lead European Union) was given a mouth to utter proud words and blaspemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months. He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. He was given power to make war against the saints and to CONQUER THEM!(emphasis mine. And he was given authority over every tribe, people,
language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast-all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from
the creation of the world."

Once again Christians will be conquered for their loyalty to Jesus. Rev. 17:14 describes Jesus returning and conquering the beast with his saints. But thousand or maybe millions will already have been martyred during the tribulation and throughout history:

"They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings-and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers."

I don't mean to sound insulting. I just get irritated that so many people are being deceived into believing that they
won't suffer during the tribulation. Jesus himself said that if they persecuted him that they would persecute us.
I don't know which Christians will be protected during the
tribulation (I hope I am) but some will and some won't. The bible states it! I intend to abide in Christ come what may.
