How can I tell my family and friends without them laughing at me that America is a sinful city? please help.
First, the command from heaven to God’s people to flee America in Revelation 18 and Jeremiah 51 is missing a timing element. No doubt a prophet must come to fill us in on when the optimal time “before she is judged” has come, as this command is incomplete and therefore not yet applicable.
Second, it is not your job to warn others about the prophecy or you would be equipped to prove it to them through signs as all of God’s (true, Hebraic) prophets have. It is a matter of faith that the Bible is true and that the identity of Mystery Babylon is the United States of America. You cannot prove this to others and it would be a waste of time to try to, especially if they are not asking you out a sincere desire to know.
What to do then? The Bible tells us to focus on purifying ourselves and then when others see our good works they will praise God (Mt 5:16) and perhaps ask us about the hope that lies within us (1Pe 3:15). Then we can tell them only what they asked for rather than use it as an excuse to try to convert them. This focus on getting our sinful selfish nature cleaned up is our real Great Commission, rather than going around talking about our beliefs with everyone who will listen. Notice the confirmation of this here in the prophecy of the Apostles until now, the end:
Daniel 11:35 (ESV) and some of the wise shall stumble, so that they may be refined, purified, and made white, until the time of the end, for it still awaits the appointed time.
To purify yourself study the entire Bible and find out what the righteous people praised therein did and copy it. Do not follow religious traditions in place of hearing and doing the word of God directly, just as people like Abraham, David and Jesus did.

Mystery Babylon must be a deep sea water port according to Revelation 18, which Washington D.C. is not.
Although i was very intrigued by the subject, i took your advice about false prophets (please don’t disregard my comment)and did a little research. i say a little because i only spent a couple of days looking into it; while i’m sure you’ve spent years on the subject.while i do respect that,i feel that you are fishing for people like myself to give a reason, or answere to what is happening or going to happen with our world and it’s inhabitants. i do not seek to discredit you, but merely want to put things into perspective. If you choose to respond i would like to hear more from you personally. Just understand that i will do my best to be sure that you are not just trying to sell me a book or ideal. sorry about the lack of grammar and writing skills that i may have displayed in this comment

I know you’ve had your website up for years, but I just checked it out today. Your article about Warning Family About America’s Fate seems very appropriate and has become very timely. I only was able to read the comments/excerpts from it as a result of another reader’s comments.
I (unlike your reader Jacqueline) am not too concerned with whether or not heathen family members laugh at me or not. I’m seeking God for a safe place of refuge because of what I’ve read in the Scriptures and a dream I had that confirmed many of the things that you stated in your article. I agree that true believers need to be seeking spiritual purification based on the righteousness of Yeshua.
However, please agree with me in prayer about an issue. Jeremiah 51:6 tells us to flee Babylon. Revelation 18:4 states, Come out of her my people that ye be not partakers of her sins and that ye receive not of her plagues. Even though I truly believe there will be physical damage done in America because of sin, I’m not sure if the Scripture is telling true believers to flee physically from America. The symbols and doctrines of Babylon are worldwide. For example, one may see those idolatrous obelisks in every major city in the world, and America definitely doesn’t have a monopoly on sin. It seems to be a worldwide system. The beast has 7 heads, which means 7 mountains or kingdoms and could equate to our 7 continents on the earth. I’ve also heard about the world being divided up on U.N. plans into 10 regions. Here’s the website reference for that–http://www.cuttingedge.org/pages/seminar2/NWOREORG.htm. It could be the 10 horns.
The key seems to be in Revelation 18:4 when it says to come out of her so that you are not a partaker of her sins. Spiritual purification is key, but please pray for me that I will hear and heed if God warns me to physically flee. I know that the Most High is able to preserve His people in the midst of dosing out plagues on unrepented sinners. We all can read about the Israelites in Goshen during the exodus from Egypt. However, I don’t want to be dumb and stick around to suffer unnecessarily after He plainly said to flee.
Please pray for the entire body of Yeshua (our spiritual family) to have wisdom concerning this matter. Thank you.
